Namsai chalks out strategies to boost CSC and CSP activities

NAMSAI, 13 May: The Namsai district administration has chalked out strategies to boost the activities of the common service centres (CSC) and the common service points (CSP) across the district.

In a meeting at the DC’s conference hall here on Friday to discuss the status of the CSCs and the CSPs across the district, DC RK Sharma laid emphasis on “covering all the villages of the district under digital banking as part of aspirational district programme.”

DPO K Sarmah spoke on the importance of CSCs and CSPs, “which is one of the important key performance indicators for aspirational district.” He emphasised on “covering all insurance schemes like the PMJJBY, the PMSBY, the APY and other social schemes of the state and central governments under CSC/CSP through VLEs.” He also stressed on the need to augment internet connectivity as “the world is emphasising on digitalisation in every aspect of life.”

DIO W Namchoom assured to expand internet connectivity to further boost the activities of the CSCs and the CSPs.

Namsai ADC S Mining and CSC district manager Nang Woila Wati Namchoom also spoke.

Among others, village level entrepreneurs from across the district were present at the meeting. (DIPR)
