ITANAGAR, 24 May: Ranganadi hydropower station general manager (E/M) Tanya Taji has been nominated to attend the 90th annual meeting and the 27th Congress of the International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD), to be organised from 27 May to 3 June in Parc Chanot in Marseille, France.
The ICOLD allows engineers to connect with each other to share their experiences and difficulties, and to think together about the strategies to be put in place to promote the engineering and dams professions.
The conference will include topics such as risk analysis for dam, analysis of various systems and methods, flood estimations, technical workshops, a symposium on water sharing, and various aspects of dams, according to a release.
