State’s NCC cadets complete CATC

PASIGHAT, 24 May: The first batch of junior division/junior wing cadets of the farthest schools of Arunachal Pradesh, near the line of actual control (under the NCC border expansion plan), who had joined the NCC last year, completed their first combined annual training camp (CATC) in Jorhat, Assam.

While cadet Yanu Dupu of GSS Tato secured the first position in firing, cadet Taken Podo of GSS Monigong took the second position in the same event.

The camp, conducted by the NCC Dibrugarh group, started on 11 May and concluded on the 20th. The cadets from Tato and Monigong also bagged the first positions in solo song and solo dance events. (DIPRO)
