PASIGHAT, Jun 1: East Siang DC Tayi Taggu on Wednesday visited the Drugs De-addiction and Rehabilitation Center at Jarkong village here in East district to take stock of the functioning of the centre.
Taggu interacted with the recovering addicts and enquired about their health.
The DC advised those who are addicted to drugs to come forward and get free treatment at the rehab centre.
The DC enquired about facilities, including availability of staffs in the rehab centre.
DMO Dr. Radesh Tatan, who accompanied the DC, informed that 10 from East Siang and neighboring districts are currently receiving treatment in the centre. (DIPRO)
