RAGA, 7 Jun: Raga MLA Tarin Dakpe directed all the government officers and officials of Kamle district to be present at their places of posting.
During a coordination meeting with the district’s HoDs at the DC’s conference hall here on Tuesday, Dakpe also asked all the executing departments to complete the projects in their departments on time, without compromising on quality.
He also directed the department concerned to “ensure early completion of the under-construction office building in the present DC office, so that the office of TO, Kamle can be set up at the earliest.”
The HoDs made presentations on their departments’ achievements.
The ZPMs of Raga and Kamporijo were also present at the meeting.
Later, addressing a ‘monsoon preparedness meeting’ organised by the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), the MLA exhorted all HoDs, ZPMs and other PRI leaders to “cooperate and coordinate with the DDMA officers and officials to avert both natural and manmade disasters.”
DDMO Toku Natung apprised the participants of the dos and don’ts during disaster, and requested the stakeholder departments and administrative officers to carry out their assigned duties during disasters diligently. (DIPRO)
