I would like to place the following requests to Talo Potom, Deputy Commissioner of the ICR.
1. Kindly issue an order to prohibit parking of all types of vehicles along the colony roads of the ICR through the high court on an urgent basis. Without such prohibition the entire project to widen the colony roads through CC pavement will be a total failure.
2. Kindly issue an order to engage and authorise respective corporators/councillors to check/penalise/seize those who park their vehicles along the colony roads. This will not be a burden to the government treasury.
3. Kindly create a WhatsApp number corporator-wise to which common colony public can report those who park their vehicles along colony roads. This WhatsApp number may be used by the police and the district administration to take appropriate actions.
4. Kindly create another WhatsApp number corporator-wise to which common colony public can report the condition or quality of drains along colony roads. This WhatsApp number may be used by the police and the district administration to take appropriate action against engineers or contractors or people who damage drains.
5. Kindly create a website through which the public can pay their land revenue through online mode. This will reduce corruption.
