WAKRO, 13 Jun: A five-day ‘art workshop’ in drawing and painting for students of Class 6 to 10 was conducted in New Pukhuri village by the APNE Library here on Monday.
The workshop, with Chennai-based Kalashetra student Behelti Ama as the resource person, involved daily sessions of two hours each, covering topics like introduction to techniques in sketching, proportions, light effect, shading, and use of pencils, crayons and water colours.
The participants worked on preparing sketches of real objects like fruits and vegetables, and produced sketches related to environment awareness.
