HAWAI, 16 Jun: Anjaw DC Talo Jerang, along with BRO Udayak CE AK Mishra, 48 BRTF Commander Col Saurabh Srivastava and others inspected the construction of the Chaglongam-Rocham and the Chaglongam-Kapapu border roads and bridges in Chaglongam circle.
The team also inspected the construction of the girder bridge over Moody Nallah, the construction of the RCC bridges in Yasong and Sethi in Walong circle, and the construction of the RCC bridges in Krowti, Tinai, Musai and Khurchu in Kibithoo circle from 14-16 June.
“The most crucial one is construction of the girder bridge over Moody Nallah, which is the only lifeline of Anjaw district for army and public traffic movement,” the DC informed.
The construction of this bridge was started three years back but it still remains unfinished by the contractor under the 1444 BCC.
The DC requested the BRO CE to press the contractor to complete the construction of the bridge within three months.
The CE gave assurance that the construction of the bridge would be completed within three months. (DIPRO)
