NAHARLAGUN, 4 Jul: Twenty-two newly recruited Group B and C officials of the trade & commerce (T&C) department are undergoing a three-week refresher training in service rules and procedures, which commenced at the ATI here on Monday.
In his inaugural address, T&C Secretary Hage Tari said that “every government functionary should undergo mandatory introductory or foundation training.”
He stressed that a government servant “should possess the art of management and should learn the latest government rules and policies in order to enhance efficiency in the public delivery system.”
ATI Director Pate Marik, T&C Director Sonyung Modi, ATI Deputy Director Nani Khambo and T&C Assistant Director Jainy Badu also spoke.
