NAHARLAGUN, 8 Jul: Traditional orator Taba Rayo breathed his last on 6 July, after a prolonged illness, at his native village Takam-Passa in Yazali circle of Lower Subansiri district.
He was around 90, and is survived by two wives, five sons and six daughters.
Rayo possessed vast knowledge of the customary laws. He was also a good arbitrator and orator, and was known for his negotiation and judgment skills in dealing with local cases. (DIPR)
