OMPULI, 9 Jul: Altogether 230 patients from Kunglo, Depo, Tamang, Pepso, Ompuli, Sangrik, Montung and Mepsoro villages were treated free of cost during an ‘outreach health camp’ organised here in Papum Pare district by the Nabum Takey Memorial Trust (NTMT) and the District Health Society on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, Sagalee MLA Nabam Tuki, who is also the president of the NTMT, said that the non-profit trust was created in memory of his late father Nabum Takey, “with the objective of serving the downtrodden sections of the society in whatever possible means, especially to promote health in the community.”

DC Sachin Rana advised the villagers to avail such services, and stressed on Covid-19 vaccination, as Covid cases are reportedly on the rise again in the state.

DMO Dr K Perme highlighted flagship programme like the PMJAY, the CMAAY, etc.
