LONGDING, 5 Aug: Village chiefs, panchayat leaders, GBs, church leaders and NGOs of Longding and Pumao circles participated in a ‘training-cum-orientation programme’ on disaster management, organised by the Longding district disaster management authority here on Friday.
Personnel of the fire & emergency services, under the leadership of ASI Ibom Gamkak, presented a demonstration on the use of fire extinguisher during a fire incident.
DDMO V Mitte also spoke.
Raincoats and first aids kit boxes were later distributed to all the participants. (DIPRO)
