Uphold what the institution stands for

Editor,
I would like to draw the attention of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) regarding the leakage of mains paper of AE (civil)-2022. The commission has been disreputable for getting involved in various controversies since the past few years and seems to be consistent.
Such occurrences of paper leakages have been quite frequent in recent times, which do not augur well for an institution of repute like the APPSC. In the face of such incidents of paper leakages, the candidates and parents feel dejected and helpless when papers are leaked at such high level exams of the state (of Grade A officers), the credibility of the commission is at stake.
This kind of failure to prevent paper leakages also undermines the morale of the students who have been burning the midnight oil for years, and diminishes the spirit of competitiveness among them.
There is immense loss of time and effort along with age factor, and now they’re under pressure around possibility of re-exam.
Keeping this in view, the authorities concerned should take prompt and necessary action at the earliest and uphold what the institution stands for – guardian of merit and equity in recruitment to Arunachal Pradesh Public Service with integrity, impartiality and efficiency.
Therefore, I humbly request you and your good office to highlight this serious matter in your esteemed newspaper to create awareness among people to fight against such corrupt practices in examinations.
