BOMDILA, 5 Oct: A ‘local education exposure tour’ for the students of the government college here in West Kameng district was sponsored and flagged off by ADC (HQ) Sang Khandu, in the presence of the college’s principal (i/c) Tashi Phuntso on 3 October.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADC said that “Today’s youths hardly know their own culture and treasures which is available in our own district,” and advised the students to “take the benefits from this education trip.”
He also spoke about the importance of planting trees, maintaining cleanliness and banning single-use plastic. (DIPRO)
