TEZU, 4 Nov: The Indira Gandhi Government College (IGGC) here in Lohit district celebrated its 33rd Annual College Day on Friday.
The celebration featured events showcasing the talents of the students in cultural, games and sports, and literary activities.
25 Bn ITBP Commandant Deonath Ray, who also attended the programme, exhorted the students to “set clear-cut goals of their life and concentrate on their studies to achieve life goals.”
Lohit SP Minjom Ete cautioned the student community against “the increasing drug menace in the society,” and advised them to refrain from drug abuse.
IGGC Principal Dr Kangki Megu outlined the achievements and future plans of the college, while IGGC general secretary Achemso Tayang highlighted the problems and achievements of the college, according to a release from the IGGC.
