ZIRO, 25 Nov: A weeklong ‘special camp-cum-cleaning drive’, conducted by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Saint Claret College, Ziro, concluded here in Lower Subansiri district on Friday.
NSS Programme Officers Withoam Socia and Jeremiah Modi coordinated the camp, which was attended by NSS volunteers of BA, BCom, and second-year BA mass communication departments.
The volunteers participated in a cleanliness drive from the SSB gate to College Road, and at Kalung-Peru and Tajang villages.
They also took out a rally in Old Ziro market to spread awareness on different issues.
