Agripreneurship development prog

PASIGHAT, 22 Dec: Nine incubates/startups are participating in a two-month ‘Agripreneurship development programme under CHF R-ABI project for boosting self-reliance among rural youths, students, and individuals of the Northeast region’, being conducted by the College of Horticulture & Forestry (CHF) here in East Siang district from 14 December, 2022 to 13 February, 2023.

The agripreneurship orientation programme, under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana, was launched by SP Sumit Kumar Jha on Wednesday at the college, in the presence of CHF Dean (i/c) Prof Lobsang Wangchu, Prof P Debnath, and others, the CHF informed in a release.

The SP in his address said that “genuine and bonafide hardworking youths preferring entrepreneurship should be given the chance after proper scrutiny of the documents and skills.”

CHF-R-ABI PI CEO Dr Anil Kumar also spoke.

Domain experts Drs Pushpendra Kumar, Punabati Heisnam, Aido Taloh, ND Bhutia, Kh Lily Devi and LD Hatai, besides Anil K Maharaj and Nunu Moyong gave their inputs for successful implementation of the programme.
