TEZU, 24 May: Lohit district executive committee (DEC) meeting on Wednesday recommended for payment of flood relief assistance “subject to availability of fund under SDRF” after reviewing the flood damage report-2022 received from various departments.
During the meeting, DDMO Damchen Norbu gave a power-point presentation on flood damage report of 2022 received from various departments.
DEC chairman-cum-Lohit DC Shashvat Saurabh informed the house that “all the relief cases to be considered strictly adhering to the revised SDRF norms and to be recommended as per govt guidelines.”
After threadbare discussion, the DEC recommended the schemes such as immediate restoration of power supply, water supply, restoration RLR at Sunpura and retaining wall near Amik Ringya Hall, Tezu, emergency restoration of damaged water supply etc.
It also accorded ex-post facto approval of relief assistance granted to the victims of fire, flood and storm. (DIPRO)
