MARIYANG, 16 Aug: Mariyang-Geku MLA Kanggong Taku inaugurated the boundary wall and the renovated buildings of the Govt Upper Primary School, Millang in the presence of DDSE Duhon Tekseng and Mariyang ADC Akan Regon on 14 August. The boundary wall has been constructed under SIDF.
Taku lauded the Modi Welfare Society (MWS) for adopting the school and appreciated their welfare activities. He assured to work for further development of the school.
On the occasion, the meritorious students of the school were also felicitated.
The senior members of MWS donated a computer set with a printer, computer table and chair and two steel almirahs to the school.
The DDSE urged all concerned to extend cooperation and support to MWS.
MWS president Sonyung Modi informed that the MWS had adopted the school in 2019. He thanked the MLA for sanctioning the boundary wall. (DIPRO)
