TEZU, 7 Mar: An orientation programme on the Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act & Rules, 2015, the POCSO Act & Rules, 2012, and the Adoption Regulations Act, 2022 under Mission Vatsalya was conducted by the Lohit District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) here on Thursday.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Domo Padu spoke on the JJ Act & Rules, while DCPU Probation Officer Sasamlu Minin apprised the participants of the Adoption Regulations Act, 2022.
DLSA advocate Emoni Mini highlighted the POSCO Act, 2012.
Members of the Child Welfare Committee, the Juvenile Justice Board, and the Special Juvenile Police Unit, besides the DMO, the ZPM, and others attended the programme. (DIPRO)
