CHONGKHAM, 17 Jul: The agriculture development office (ADO) in Namsai district conducted a training session for Soil Mitras from each Gram Panchayat at the conference hall of ADC office here on Wednesday. The training was conducted as a part of the NITI-Aayog’s Sampoornata Abhiyan campaign.
The Soil Mitras were imparted training on how to use soil heath card (SHC) mobile application for soil sample collection during the training.
This was followed by practical session in Namliang village, where the ADO demonstrated the functioning of the SHC app for live soil sample collection.
The Soil Mitras have also been tasked with collecting soil sample from their respective villages under Chongkham block for generation of SHCs. (DIPRO)
