Nguso participates in international lit fest

ITANAGAR, 17 Nov: A five-day international literature event was organized in Chitwan, Pokhara, and Kathmandu in Nepal. It was coordinated by the Chitwan Sahitya Sangam (Chitwan), Sahitya Samaj (Pokhara), Hamro Laghu Katha Kathmandu (Kathmandu), and Kala Sahitya Sirjana Abhiyan Samaj (Bhaktapur).

Gumpi Nguso Lombi, Hindi officer of Rajiv Gandhi University, participated as a speaker representing Arunachal Pradesh and presented her paper on the literature of the renowned litterateur Padmashree Yeshe Dorjee Thongchi.

In addition, she also presented her research paper on the tribal social-cultural values of Arunachal Pradesh. The program was coordinated by the Purvottar Sahitya Hindi Academy, Tezpur.

Renowned Nepali litterateur Momila Joshi spoke on the occasion, stating that this event would foster unity and integrity between the two countries. Literary figures from various states of India and Nepal attended the program. Activities such as poetry recitation, short story readings, and research paper presentations were organized during the event.

The event aimed to promote literary and cultural exchange and preserve the rich cultural, social, and literary values of both India and Nepal.
