AALO, 23 Dec: In a major boost to the agriculture and allied sectors of the state, farmers of the Yomgo Farmers Producer Company Limited, based here in West Siang district, have exported 6 metric tons (mt) of premium quality organic pineapples to Umdihar, Ri-Bhoi, Meghalaya, through the Individual Quick Freezing (IQF) Company.
This initiative is part of a larger effort of the Arunachal Pradesh Agriculture Marketing Board to promote sustainable farming practices and market linkage for agriculture and allied sector crops in Arunachal.
The initiative was a collaborative effort of District Agriculture Officer Bingum Padu and ADO (HQ) Yomli Likar, besides officials of Palladium, SeSTA, and IQF Company.
