AUS organizes ‘Shapers of the Future’ to honor contribution of teachers

NAMSAI, 22 Jan: The Arunachal University of Studies (AUS) on Wednesday held a special event ‘Shapers of the Future’ to honour the significant contributions of teachers in various spheres.

Padma Shri awardee Yanung Jamoh Lego was also conferred “Professor of Practice” in accordance with UGC regulations, the university said in a release.

AUS vice-chancellor prof. D.S Hernwal, who inaugurated the event, highlighted the university’s journey over the past 12 years.

AUS chairman Dr. Ashwani Lochan emphasized the crucial role of teachers as the foundation of a progressive society.

Deans, principals and directors from various departments of the university also shared their perspectives, adding depth to the event’s discussions.

The event was participated by National Teachers’ Awardee Jyoti Panka from GHSS, Deomali, managing directors, principals and teachers from schools and colleges across Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.
