ZIRO, 17 Mar: A career guidance programme was organised at Saint Claret College, Ziro (SCCZ) on Monday, in collaboration with NGO Helping Hands and ALS IAS.
The event aimed to provide students with valuable insights into career planning and competitive examinations.
Delhi Special Commissioner of Police and Helping Hands president Robin Hibu, served as the resource person for the programme.
Addressing the students, he emphasised the significance of pursuing one’s passion as a key factor in achieving success.
Hibu defined a career as the pursuit of one’s passion with success, stating, “Whatever you like, whatever your career is, if you achieve success in it, that is a career.”
He emphasised the importance of discipline and commitment, and urged the students to step beyond their comfort zones.
Hibu added that when preparing for competitive exams, a thorough understanding of the syllabus and unwavering focus are essential to achieving the goals.
The interactive session saw students engaging actively, asking relevant queries regarding career choices, preparation strategies, and overcoming challenges in competitive examinations.
Hibu also had an interaction with the teaching staff of the college and offered various academic and professional insights.
Later in the day, the Lower Subansiri district administration, in collaboration with the Health Promotion Cell of SCCZ organised an awareness campaign on drug addiction and health and hygiene for adolescent girls under the ‘Arunachal Rising’campaign.
