SAA chairman motivates state’s junior football team

CHIMPU, 18 Jul: Sports Authority of Arunachal (SAA) Chairman John Neelam and its Vice Chairman Bengia Yayang Tadar interacted with the junior state football team members here on Friday as the team gears up to participate in the upcoming Junior National Football Championship for Dr BC Roy Trophy.

The prestigious tournament is scheduled from 27 to 31 July in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh.

During the motivational session, the chairman and the vice chairman reminded the young footballers of the importance of mental resilience, teamwork, and discipline.

“You are not just representing yourselves; you are carrying the hopes and aspirations of an entire state. Believe in your training, play as one unit, and uphold the values of integrity and sportsmanship,”   Neelam said addressing the players.

Tadar motivated the team by highlighting the growing recognition of football talents from Arunachal Pradesh at the national level. She assured the players of continued institutional support and encouraged them to make the most of this opportunity by showcasing their hard work and determination.

Track suits were distributed to all players and support staff.
