BOMDILA, 9 Aug: Students of Modern School here in West Kameng district tied rakhi threads on the wrists of Army officers and jawans during a special Raksha Bandhan celebration organised at the Army unit’s temple premises here on Saturday.
Later, a plantation drive was organized under the theme ‘Ek Ped Behan Ke Naam,’ in which the school’s principal, students, teachers, and all ranks of the Army unit participated enthusiastically.
Earlier, the Army had also organized painting and rakhi-making competitions, and students were awarded for their efforts.
