WAKRO, 11 Aug: The National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) organized an essay writing competition on the theme ‘Importance of national highways’ at Apna Vidya Bhavan here in Lohit district on Monday, wherein 30 students representing three local schools – Apna Vidya Bhavan, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, and Don Bosco School – took part.
Dichenlu Appa, Jantina Ngadong and Reshmika Chikro secured the first, second and third place, respectively, in the competition.
Organized by the NHIDCL’s Namsai-based project management unit, under the aegis of its Itanagar regional office, the event marked the commemoration of the 11th inception day of the NHIDCL, informed Anu Shiksha Seva Trust chairman Rohinso Krisikro in a release.
