ITANAGAR, 18 Sep: Commending the Police Department for arresting Tarh Talam, the warden of the Government Middle School in Mani in Papum Pare district, in connection with the suicide of a Class 7 student in the school, the Arunachal Civil Society(ACS) has sought justice for the victim’s family and “exemplary action without bias.”
Terming the death of the student by suicide very unfortunate, the ACS emphasized on precautionary measures, so that this kind of incident does not recur. It stressed on the need for social awareness in both government and private schools, as well as private PGs and hostels.
The ACS also commended the Papum Pare SP for the prompt action by the police.
