ITANAGAR, 21 Sep: The Central Bureau of Communication’s (CBC) regional office (RO) here and its five field offices (FOs) in Tawang, Bomdila, Aalo, Pasighat and Tezu organized plantation drives in their respective office premises under the theme ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’, as part of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada, on Sunday.
In addition to the plantation drive, the CBC RO here also organized a special outreach programme on Swacchta Hi Seva at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Itanagar campus.
As part of the event, a good number of saplings were planted within the FTII campus to encourage students and staff to adopt tree plantation as a regular practice.
