LONGDING, 21 Sep: The Longding KVK organized a training programme on ‘Proper cultural management of paddy for higher production and productivity in Longding district’ at the Hasse Russa community hall on Saturday, with the participation of 68 farmers from Kamkuh Russa and Hasse Russa villages.
Addressing the farmers, Agronomy Chief Technical Officer A Kirankumar Singh highlighted the different cultural management practices to be followed during the course of crop growing period, starting from nursery-raising to harvesting, for getting maximum production from the crop.
Land and water management expert Dr Amit Kumar highlighted the importance of land management for making the field suitable for paddy and increasing the productivity of the crop. He suggested managing the water level properly, according to the requirement of the crop plant, for its growth and development.
