ITANAGAR, 23 Sep: A board meeting of the Arunachal Pradesh Biodiversity Board (APBB) was held here on Tuesday under the chairmanship of APBB Chairman Hawa Bagang.
The meeting was attended by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests P Subramanyum, and member Bakemso Tawsik, among others
During the meeting, deliberations were held on the agenda items placed before the board, and resolved. The discussion focused on strengthening biodiversity conservation initiatives, implementation of the Biological Diversity Act, and measures for effective functioning of the Biodiversity Management Committees across the state.
The meeting was attended also by APBB adviser CA Reddy, who provided valuable insight and suggestions on matters of biodiversity governance and conservation planning.
Bagang expressed appreciation for the members for their active participation and constructive contribution towards advancing the biodiversity agenda of Arunachal Pradesh.
