KHONSA, 28 Oct: The District Disaster Management Plan-2025 for Tirap district was released by Deputy Commissioner Techu Aran here on Tuesday.
The plan provides a comprehensive framework for disaster preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery, aiming to enhance the district’s resilience and ensure coordinated action during emergencies.
The deputy commissioner appreciated the collaborative efforts of all departments, and emphasized the importance of proactive planning and community participation in building a disaster-resilient district.
District Disaster Management Officer Emily Tingkhatra, HoDs, personnel from the State Disaster Response Force, and staff from the district disaster management office were present on the occasion. (DIPRO)
