ZIRO, Apr 29: the Tanw Supun Dukun [TSD] donated Rs 1 lakh each to the Lower Subansiri district administration and the district health society as a token of appreciation of their selfless services in combating Covid-19.
The cheque was handed over to Deputy Commissioner Chukhu Takar and DMO Dr Tage Kanno by TSD president Hage Tado and secretary Pura G Tago.
“Your timely planning, guidance, management and executing the strict guidelines and SOPs issued from the government of India and state government has created a sense of security among the people of Ziro,” the TDS wrote in its letter of appreciation.
Assuring full support to the administration in combating the pandemic, the TSD informed that it has directed its sister organizations and general public to co-operate and extend full support to the cause.
“We have constituted a Covid-19 task force team, which will work with the administration as and when required,” the TSD said.
The council also provided 500 facemasks to the SP. (DIPRO)
