MARO, May 13: The Dream for United Arunachal (DUA) conducted a social awareness programme on the Covid-19 pandemic here at the Dumar Maro Memorial School in Upper Subansiri district on Wednesday.
Urging the people of Maro to understand the seriousness of the pandemic and series of lockdown as announced by the central and state governments, DUA chairman Gumjum Haider informed the gathering on maintaining social and physical distancing to break the chain of Covid-19.
He earnestly appealed people to the people to obey lockdown protocols and said, “The corona virus attack is increasing day by day in our nation all because of our undisciplined mindset and behaviour.”
Maro CHC MO Dr Takam Bagbi emphasized on wearing masks to break the chain of Covid-19, while DUA coordinator Kobu Mara insisted on repeated hand washing and use of sanitizers.
Marli Maro, the CEO of Dumar Maro Memorial School and Pape Bagbi, the bazaar secretary also spoke on the occasion.
