ZIRO, May 29: Lower Subansiri deputy commissioner Swetika Sachan has visited the dedicated Covid Hospital here (GTGHZ), its newly built ICU and interacted with the doctors and other healthcare workers on the level of preparedness to fight against Covid-19.
While lauding the efforts put in by healthcare workers to combat Covid-19, she suggested for arranging a ‘mobile sample testing vehicle’ so that the testing could be done at the CCCs itself instead of coming to the DCHC for the same.
She further advised for taking swab samples from both Oropharyngeal and Posterior Nasopharyngeal sites in order to minimize the chances of false negative results.
Later, she also inspected the CCC at ITI, Monipolyang and witnessed the release of three returnees from Kamle district. (DIPRO)
