ITANAGAR, 3 May: The Anti Corruption and Crime Control Committee Arunachal Pradesh on Monday sought a detailed account of the fund utilized in Covid-19 management by the state government.
In a letter to the chief minister, the committee demanded a white paper from the state government, particularly the health & family welfare department, on the utilization of fund in Covid-19 management during 2020-2021.
It demanded that the government make public the total amount received from the central government and private parties to contain and manage Covid-19 in Arunachal.
The committee also said that the bills of many contractors are still pending with various departments, even after completion of their works, due to Covid-19. It urged the chief minister to take the matter seriously.
