ITANAGAR, Sep 14: The ‘Hindi Fortnight’ programme, organized by the 31st BN ITBP, Yupia from September 1 to 14 concluded here on Thursday.
On the occasion, 31st BN ITBP Commandant, P N Prasad distributed cash prizes of Rs 1000, Rs 800 and Rs 600 to 24 winners of various competitions during the valedictory day.
Officers and jawans from various branches and coys participated in the competition.
Addressing the participants, Prasad said that a sound knowledge of language is necessary to advance in any sphere of activity. He exhorted everyone to look upon Hindi language as a collective responsibility to contribute to its development by making maximum use of it in all official correspondences.
