ITANAGAR, 19 Jul: Alleging that 26 officiating, contractual and contingency LDC/MTS posts in the Kamle district administration’s establishment were filled illegally, the All Kamle District Students’ Union (AKKDSU) has sought cancellation of the appointment orders against said posts within 14 days.
In a representation to the chief secretary, the AKKDSU on Monday claimed that the alleged illegal appointments were made between 27 February, 2020 and 10 May, 2021.
Citing documents obtained through RTI application, the union further claimed that five alleged illegal appointees to the posts of MTS under the Kamle district administration “are not bona fide citizens of the district but have been given priority during appointment.”
“It is totally wrong. It is a complete encroachment on the district-wise quota for local candidates of the district. Such backdoor appointments in the newly created district will jeopardize the future of deserving educated unemployed youths of the district,” the union said.
