ITANAGAR, Jan 19: The Capital Complex administration on Friday distributed 60 blankets and mattresses each as immediate relief to the families affected by the Romi Colony fire accident.
It also provided 150 packets of packed dinner. Nearby government primary school has been identified as a temporary relief camp for the victims.
Expressing grief over the calamity, Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan reiterated the need to pay caution to activities which involve use of fire.
He said proper fire safety mechanisms must be adopted, including proper electrical wiring and dousing fire after its use in local kitchens, to avoid such mishaps. (DIPRO)
