NEW DELHI, 18 Nov: The national body of the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) has constituted an ad hoc Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh) chapter, with Chow Bilaseng Namchoom as its chairman.
While Rakesh Dolley has been selected as the chapter’s vice chairman, Likha Narie and Sanjay Mosing have been selected as its secretary and treasurer, respectively.
PRSI National President Ajit Pathak said that “the members selected will play a greater role in the PR and communication world with the national body of professionals. The new team will initiate all the activities of the chapter, including membership drive and chapter protocol formalities, and organize regular PR programmes.”
PRSI Itanagar Chairman Namchoom expressed gratitude to the national body for his appointment and said that “the responsibility is huge but I hope that, with the support and guidance of the national body of PRSI, I can look forward to positive collaborations and a fruitful tenure ahead.”
PRSI, the national association of PR practitioners, was established in 1958 to promote the recognition of public relations as a profession and to formulate and interpret to the public the objectives and the potentialities of public relations as a strategic management function.
The members of the society are public relations practitioners from multinationals, the government, the public and private sectors, academics and PR consultants.
