ITANAGAR, 12 Mar: Expressing serious concern over the burning down of 10 houses in a fire accident in Baki village in Upper Subansiri district on 10 March, the Siyum Nacho Limeking Taksing Student’s Union has urged the district administration and the state government to provide relief fund for the victims at the earliest.
The union also called for setting up a fire station with a fire tender in Baki township. The township has more than 500 houses, and in such situations the public have no recourse to fight against fires, it said.
