TEZU, 4 Apr: A book exhibition was jointly organised by the Denning College of Teachers’ Education (DCTE) and Bamboosa Library in the college premises here in Lohit district on Monday.
The event was aimed at providing a range of attractive reading materials to students who are currently on vacation, and to expose parents to better alternatives to online learning sources.
Books of Tulika, TERI, NBT, Kalpavriksh, Ektara and other publishers were on display, along with the recently released Arunachal folktales anthology Monster of the Golden Valley & Other Tales from Arunachal, by the Lohit Youth Library Network.
The highlight of the programme was a book talk themed ‘Books for teachers’ by Lohit Youth Library Network coordinator S Mundayoor.
DCTE assistant professor Mimu Linggi and DCTE chairman Badang Tayang were also present on the occasion.
