HOLLONGI, 1 Jul: The NDRF continued its search operation for the fourth day on Friday to find the two missing minor boys who were swept away by the flooded Hollongi river on 28 June.
On Friday, Doimukh MLA Tana Hali Tara, accompanied by Papum Pare DC Sachin Rana, Balijan ADC Tasso Gambo and DDMO Nima Tashi, visited the flood-affected areas and interacted with the residents.
Relief items were provided to seven affected families.
Later, the team visited the designated relief camp at the primary school in Upper Hollongi, where three families are taking shelter. Rice packets were distributed to them.
Later, the team took stock of the damages caused by floodwater.
The MLA and the DC also inspected the ongoing greenfield airport project in Hollongi and interacted with the officials of the Airports Authority of India. (DIPRO)
