YAZALI, 7 Jul: The Lower Subansiri Samagra Shiksha Society/ISSE organised a district level inter-school quiz competition for the elementary level students at the government higher secondary school (GHSS) here on Thursday.
GHSS Principal Taba Chana, who inaugurated the event, said that “the best way to improve scientific temper among students is to involve curriculum activities by taking up challenges in calculating science and technology.”
“Organising quiz competition among the students of government schools will be beneficial to the students updating current affairs of the world,” he added.
Block resource coordinator Chukhu Epa also spoke.
Twenty-four Class 6-9 students from 10 government schools of Yazali participated in the competition.
Chukhu Jajar (GSS Yachuli) was declared the winner of the competition, and the second and third prizes were bagged by UPS Yoizath and GSS Pitapol, respectively.
The prizes were distributed by Yachuli GSS Headmaster JK Abo.
