LEMMI, 27 Sep: A PM SVANidhi camp for the urban street vendors here in Pakke-Kessang district got underway on Tuesday.
Addressing the vendors, DUDA AE Biju Dodum urged them to avail the benefits of the scheme and enroll themselves with the UD & housing department “for further benefits in the long run.”
ArSULM Mission Director Liyi Bagra spoke about the scheme’s benefits, and urged the vendors to be in touch with the DUDA “for availing other benefits too from other centrally-sponsored schemes being implemented by the department.”
He informed the vendors about the benefits of the PM SVANidhi scheme and the three levels of loan benefits which are being provided under the scheme.
ArSULM SMM Ravi Sharma spoke about the DAY-NULM scheme.
Thirty vendors applied for the first tranche of loan, amounting to Rs 10,000, on the first day.
