ZIRO, 11 Nov: The G/138 Bn CRPF here in Lower Subansiri district, in collaboration with the State Blood Transfusion Council, organised a blood donation camp at the Gyati Takka General Hospital here on Friday.
Led by G/138 Bn OC Vikas Kumar, CRPF personnel donated as many as five units of blood.
“We don’t have any substitute for blood, so all have come forward to donate blood to save others,” said Kumar.
Earlier, the G/138 Bn CRPF organised a friendly volleyball match between Uniform Team and Civilian Team (Dutta Volleyball Club) at the battalion’s campus. The Uniform Team won the match. (DIPRO)
