ITANAGAR, Mar 12: The website www.arunachalbudget.in of the Arunachal Pradesh State Budget 2018-19 was launched on Monday by Chief Minister Pema Khandu at the auditorium of the State Legislative Assembly.
The website has been designed by the Department of Finance, Planning and Investment in collaboration with the department of IT & Communications.
Special Secretary IT&C Prince Dhawan while presenting an overview of the website informed that the website has been launched with an aim to promote transparency and accountability.
The three sections of the website includes ‘sectoral perspective’ that has the detail outlook of every department, ‘what’s in it for me?’ that gives information on what the budget has for the society, and ‘budget document’ that has the details of the grants-in-aid and the allocated budget detail of every department and the budget speech.
Among others, Legislative Assembly Speaker T N Thongdok, Deputy Speaker Tumke Bagra, ministers, MLAs, parliamentary secretaries, CS and a host of other dignitaries were present. (DIPRO)
