JANG, Mar 25: Fifteen livestock farmers participated in an animal health camp conducted here in Tawang district by the ICAR-National Research on Yak under its Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) scheme, in collaboration with the animal husbandry & veterinary department, on 25 March.
The farmers were provided with anthelmintics, anti-diarrhoeals, etc, for their animals. They were also informed about various aspects of diseases, preventive measures, and benefits of regular health check of animals.
Scientist Dr Juwar Doley, Tsering Khandu and PK Nath of the ICAR-NRC on Yak, and Senior Veterinary Officer Dr Thuptan Tashi were the resource persons.
