Kamle DC calls for 100% immunisation

RAGA, 27 Aug: A meeting of the District Task Force for Immunisation on routine immunisation (RI) was held at the DC’s chamber here in Kamle district on Tuesday.

Addressing the participants, Deputy Commissioner Shashank Mani Tripathi directed all medical officersin-charge to ensure vaccination of all children from 0 to 5 years of age “by proper supervision, monitoring, mobilisation, micro-plan and information education campaign on immunisation to achieve 100% immunisation.”

He directed all ASHAs to “mobilise parents for RI of children and attend RI sessions of respective health facility and village.”

He also directed DRCHO Dr Kapu Sopin to organise awareness programmes on immunisation in Yattap village within September this year, in coordination with the PRI leaders, GBs and public of the village.

DMO (i/c) Dr Gemik Hangkar also spoke.

Following this, Dr Sopin delivered a presentation on the performance under the RI programme, and WHO RRT Dr Tage Yamung delivered a presentation on the recommended RI in the district.

DDSE (i/c) Maga Sangku, NVBDCP DPO Dr Boni Taluk, Raga CDPO Gyati Loder, all MOs in charge, and medical staff attended the meeting. (DIPRO)
